The Centre for Linguistic Theory and Studies in Probability (CLASP) is based in FLoV at the University of Gothenburg, and is funded by a 10 year grant from the Swedish Research Council (2015-2025). CLASP is devoted to research and advanced training in the application of probabilistic modelling and machine learning methods to core issues in linguistic theory and cognition. Job assignments
The successful candidate is expected to devote her or his time to helping in administrative duties relevant to CLASP. More specifically, the successful candidate will have to act as the accountant for the project, keeping track of the project's costs and related financial matters. Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for administrative duties related to CLASP's activity, e.g. organizing the administrative part of research visits, taking care of CLASP members' travel arrangements, conference organizing etc.

The successful candidate has to show evidence of the following: a) proof of accounting skills and expertise of reading and explaining excel sheets, b) good interpersonal skills and c) very good knowledge of both written and spoken Swedish and English. A degree in economonics (e.g. civilekonom) is much desirable but not required if the person can prove expertise in the relevant areas.

The candidates will be assessed on the basis of the three criteria specified as well as their motivation letter describing how these criteria are met.
